We traversed the Democratic Republic of Congo on our way from Cabina to Angola. It was also a transit country on our journey. On our way through the DRC, we had to cross the second longest river on the continent, the Congo River. We discovered that in the south of DRC, the only bridge to cross the river is in Matadi and as it was an easier and less stressful route, we took it. In addition, Matadi turned out to be extremely exciting and chaotic as a place of transit. Once again, we enjoyed the trip very much.
